Darby 6 years old AKC registered black Lab 80 lbs.
Darby Doo Of Devonshire. Responds equally well to “Girly”, “Treat”, “Go” and “Walk”. Very clever; very smart. Energetic but never hyper. A wonderful, engaging girl. Can’t hold her licker. Walks on slack leash very well. Will sit at corners, with occasional nudge. Currently a plus-sized gal, but losing through exercise and diet. Due for spay once she slims a bit. Wonderful conformation; coat deep black. She rides in vehicles extremely well, crates, and is not flatulent. Does not snore any louder than her foster dad.
Darby will trade ten sloppy kisses for only one belly rub. She knows standard commands. Knows “out”. She’s learning fetch. Mouth so soft her favorite toy is a small stuffed lion. Likes to be intelligently engaged. Will out-think you if she can. She’s spent time around kids and is friendly with other dogs. Will not chase squirrels, cats or raccoons upon gentle restraint.
Darby needs to be with people who can appreciate her clever personality, and like to play gentile games. Adoptive family must also lay in an adequate supply of steamed carrots. She likes them in her food. We’ll supply the stuffed lion.
Available for adoption to her perfect forever family: www.labrescue.org.

I lookeda at her picture – she is an Awesome looking black Lab. My daughter has a black Lab and I think Darby might even be better looking than their Lab.
